UPDATE MARCH 18, 2020
The news is rapidly changing and we are constantly reassessing how we will be caring for our patients through these challenging times. Our goal as your trusted health care partner is to do everything possible to support you, your family and your friends during this stressful time. We will be updating our website and Facebook page frequently. Please like/follow/share us on Facebook so that you have access to our most current information updates as this seems to be materializing as the most efficient method of communication for now.
We are following the guidelines put forth on March 16th by the American Dental Association and have currently suspended operations for all elective dental procedures through March 27th (for now). We want our patients to be reassured that we are here for you in the event of a dental emergency and have created a special schedule and treatment protocols to accommodate those patients that may need to be seen during that time frame.
If you have family members, or friends, who do not have access to their regular dentist because they are closed, we will be glad to screen/evaluate their emergency situation and can help them also. We do not want patients going to the ER or emergent care centers for dental emergencies as they are quickly becoming overwhelmed and your risk of being exposed to the COVID-19 virus is greatly increased in that setting. Remember … the short-term goal here is to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to flatten the curve.
If you are having a dental emergency, do not hesitate to call the office. We will be monitoring calls during the day and will do everything within our power to treat you safely and effectively. As always, there are instructions on our answering service for after-hour emergencies.
